Using the service

Tanker Docket provides a driver app and a customer reporting portal for fuel-delivery operations. You agree to use the service lawfully, keep account details accurate, and follow the operating and safety procedures provided by your employer or operations team.

Accounts and access

Accounts are created for approved members of a customer organisation. Keep passwords and devices secure, sign out from shared devices, and tell your organisation if you suspect unauthorised use. Access is limited by role: drivers use app cloud features, viewers receive read-only reports, and owners and administrators manage operational access. You must not try to access another organisation’s records.

Delivery records

The driver app helps you capture and print delivery information. You remain responsible for checking the customer, product, quantity, printer output, and any required signatures before completing a handover.

Local saving and printing do not depend on cloud availability. Only completed records are synchronised after sign-in; drafts remain on the device. Cloud-only records are read-only in the first release and cannot be printed from another device. A failed or interrupted print is never retried automatically: the driver must confirm an unknown result before another print is attempted.

Synchronisation and conflicts

Network interruptions may delay an upload without changing the local save or print result. The service may reject an outdated or conflicting record and ask the driver or organisation to resolve it. Signing out clears cloud session data and cached cloud records from that device but does not delete unsynchronised local records.

Customer responsibilities

Customer organisations are responsible for authorising users, assigning suitable roles, keeping source information accurate, meeting workplace, transport, fuel-handling, tax, and record-keeping obligations, and maintaining any independent records required by law. Tanker Docket is an operational aid and is not a substitute for safety procedures, professional advice, or legally required documentation.

Availability and changes

We will work to keep the service available, but no service can be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Features, supported platforms, and printer compatibility may change as the product develops.

Privacy

Use of personal and operational information is described in the Tanker Docket privacy notice. By enabling cloud features, an organisation confirms that it is authorised to provide the delivery and workforce information it asks drivers to record.
